What is the church’s mission in the face of suffering and injustice? – Training Peacemakers in the Holy Land

We recently held a Zoom training for 12 staff members from Life Agape, the local ministry of CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) in Israel and Palestine. Though the war kept us from meeting in person, the sessions were rich and timely. We focused on our role as Christ’s servants during these challenging times, discussing how to advocate for truth, empathy, justice, and healing. Together, we wrestled with questions like: What is the church’s mission in the face of suffering and injustice? How do we navigate relationships with all sides of the conflict with fairness and compassion? It was encouraging to see how God uses even virtual spaces to renew hope, refresh our faith, and equip us to be beacons of healing and hope.
