In November, our director, Dr. Rula Khoury Mansour, had the opportunity to be one of the speakers at John Stott’s centennial celebration at St Andrew’s Church in Hong Kong, where she shared her insights into the legacy of Stott. In her lecture, she highlighted three commitments in which she was inspired by Stott in her journey of peacemaking ministry: 1) commitment to internalize the kingdom’s ethics that equip us in our peacemaking mission, 2) commitment to research and teaching in which we need to engage in double listening: listening to God and to context, and 3) commitment to engage in peacemaking.
