We had the opportunity to speak at the Women Entrepreneurship & Leadership Initiative conference organized by Israel First Fruits near the shores of the Sea of Galilee. The theme of the conference was “What’s Your Story?” It was lovely to hear personal journeys of transformation from other women, both Messianic Jewish and Palestinian-Israeli. In her presentation, our director, Dr. Rula Khoury Mansour shared her journey from law school to the deputy head of the public prosecution office, followed by her pursuit of studies in reconciliation theology, ultimately leading her to discover her calling and establish the Peace Center. She highlighted the inherent challenges and opportunities that arise when taking radical steps for peace. In her talk, she emphasized how her understanding of the cross has been a guiding force in shaping her path. She underscored the significance of embracing the core values of acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God. These values, symbolized by the cross, are crucial in the pursuit of peace.
